Oleksandr molich was born on March 9, 1991, in the village of Veliun, Dubrovytsia Raion. In 2008, Oleksandr graduated from Veliun Secondary School and entered Rivne Higher Vocational School under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. In April 2012, he was called up for a regular military service (the 80th Air Mobile Unit of Lviv). On October 9, 2012, Oleksandr became a senior gun-layer and the commander of a subdivision. After the regular service in the paratroops of the 80th Air Mobile Unit of the city of Lviv, he continued his service by contract.

In August 2013, Oleksandr was awarded the title of a Senior Sergeant. At that time, the 80th Air Mobile Unit went to the East to defend the integrity of Ukraine.

Oleksandr Yarmolich received severe injuries during the bombardment by illegal armed groups with BM-21 “Hrad” of Luhansk Power Station in the town of Shchastia.

Oleksandr died on January 31, 2015, in the hospital of the town of Shchastia, Luhansk Oblast.

According to the Presidential Executive Order №331/2015 on June 4, 2015, Oleksandr was posthumously decorated with the Third Class Order For Bravery “for personal courage and high professionalism demonstrated in the protection of sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and loyalty to the military oath”.

Farewell to Olexander Yarmolich

In the morning, the body of the Defender of Ukraine from the Dubrovytskyi raion was taken home. At that time, people formed a corridor and held candles, they were standing on their knees encountered fellow villagers from the village Zagreb to the village Velyun, from where Olexander was born. The ceremony of farewell began with a simple Polissya house where Sasha grew. Every willing person, even unknown to the dead man, came and worshiped, saying goodbye to Olexander. After the farewell in his hometown, Olexander’s coffin was carried by the soldiers congener to the Holy Church, which is located in the village. After ordo in the temple, under the honorary military custody, was a farewell at the school where Olexander studied. The head of the Dubrovytskyi raion council, Serhiy Kirkevych, in his farewell statement thanked parents for a good son, noting that this is not only their loss, it is the loss of the Dubrovytskyi raion and to all of Ukraine. There were tears, in the eyes of an adult man. Ohmak Svitlana Omelyanivna, the director of Velyunska school, during her farewell speech to Sasha, said that Ukraine’s defender was for her like a son who told her mother that you will be proud of me! …

We are proud of you Sasha! Svetlana Omelyanivna told to the audience on the square that the leadership of the school had a desire to name the Velyunska school after the name of the graduate, Defender of Ukraine Oleksandr Yarmolich. Then the mourning procession went to the village cemetery, where priest Olexander carried out the funeral service and said that the most sacred thing is to give his life to his neighbors. Under the state slavens in the performance of the military orchestra and military fireworks, Olexander Yarmolich was given to his native land … Glory to the Heroes!
