Serhii Sholudko was born on March 26, 1977, in the village of Mizoch in Zdolbuniv Raion. He worked at a local boarding school. Serhii was called up to the Armed Forces of Ukraine on March 10, 2015, and served as the main gun commander. He had the rank of a sergeant-major.

On September 23, 2015, while performing official duties in the Anti-Terrorist Operation Zone (urban village Myrne, Melitopil Raion, Zaporizhzhia Oblast) the sergeant-major Serhii Sholudko got cardiac arrest at 7.45 p. m. The serviceman was only 39 years old, he left two children.

On March 25, in Mizoch, the invention of the memorial plaque was taken place to the ATO Hero, Sholudko Serhii a citizen of Mizoch, who died, defending the independence of our State in September 2015. The event was attended by representatives of the authorities, residents and guests of the village, relatives and friends of the deceased. The right to open a memorial plaque, which was fixed on the facade of the Mizoch school, where Serhii studied was given to his sons Mykhailo and Dmytro. On March 26, 2016, Serhii had to be 39 years old, but he laid his own life for the independence of our State… and the flowers fall on a cold stone in front of the board of his memory. Happy birthday, Hero! You are forever alive in our memory…
