Petro Nakydaliuk (07.04.1990 – 03.11.2015)

Petro Nakydaliuk was born on July 4, 1990, in the village of Ploska, Dubno Raion. He finished Dubno Comprehensive School №3 and attended Dubno Physical Culture School. From the age of 17, Petro went in for sports professionally. He became a Candidate Master of Sports of Ukraine in arm wrestling. In 2014, he was called up into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The 24-year-old military officer was a tank man. On March 11, he was killed in the village of Pisky (Yasynuvata Raion) near Donetsk.

Ruslan was decorated with the Order For Bravery for courage and valor.

According to the Presidential Executive Order #573/2015 on 10 October 2015, he was posthumously decorated with the Third Class Order For Bravery “for personal courage and high professionalism demonstrated in the protection of sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, loyalty to the military oath”.… Читати далі

Mykhailo Liashyk (11.04.1993 – 03.0.2015)

Mykhailo Liashyk was born in Dubno. He lived on 68 A, Hrushevskoho  Street, app. 34. Mykhailo studied at School No. 6 and later became a student of Dubno Professional Lyceum. In 2011, he joined the army. At the beginning of service, he had a special training in “communication organization” in Poltava. In six months, Mykhailo was transferred into the 24th Mechanized Brigade in Yavoriv, where he served for half a year. Mykhailo was demobilized in 2012. He was actively engaged in sports, particularly boxing and pankration.

In April 2014, Mykhailo was mobilized again. He served as a soldier of the Anti-Terrorist Operation in the famous 51st Mechanized Brigade and fought near Ilovaisk and many other hot spots in the East. Mykhailo returned home alive and unbroken. However, in February 2015, he got into a car accident, because of which he died on March 30, 2015.

Oleh Romanovych (08.12.1982 – 11.13.2015)

Oleh anovych was born on June 12, 1982. He studied at Dubno Secondary School №6 and later – Dubno Professional Lyceum of the town of Dubno.

He was conscripted to the Armed Forces of Ukraine according to the partial mobilization on March 10, 2015. He served in 14 Volodymyr-Volynsk Mechanized Brigade as a Commander of mine thrower of The Third Mechanized Battalion. On November 17, 2015,  a 33-year-old serviceman got gunshot wound incompatible with life.

He left parents, a wife and a daughter.

Mykola O. Humeniuk (05.23.1993 – 08.29.2014)

Mykola Humeniuk was born on May 23, 1993, in the village of Ptycha, Dubno Raion. He was a soldier and a driver of the 51st Mechanized Infantry Brigade. Mykola perished during the departure from the battlefield of Ilovaisk through the so-called “green corridor” between the villages of Katerynivka and Horbatenko. On September 3, 2014, the soldier’s body along with the 96 bodies of the other deceased was transported to Dnipropetrovsk. On October 16, Mykola was temporarily buried as an unknown hero at the Krasnopil Cemetery in Dnipropetrovsk. He has been identified thanks to the DNA test.

His place of burial: the city of Dnipropetrovsk, Krasnopil Cemetery, a burial plot №79.

Dmytro Momotiuk (08.19.1991-08.24.2014)

Dmytro Momotiuk was born on September 19, 1991, in the village of Bereh, Dubno Raion, Rivne Oblast. In 1997, he was accepted in the 1st form of Bereh Educational Complex. Dmytro went in for sports and participated in the athletics and football competitions on the raion level.

After finishing 9 forms of Bereh Educational Complex in 2006, he entered Zolochiv Vocational School. Having graduated from it, Dmytro worked at a Publicly Traded Company “Rivne Piscicultural Ameliorative Station (PAS)”.

In 2009, he became a soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and on April 10, 2014, Dmytro Momotiuk was enlisted into Volodymyr-Volynskyi 51st Air-Mobile Brigade of the 3rd Battalion.

He died on the night of September 24, 2014, in the battle of Ilovaisk (Donetsk Oblast) near Kuteinykove. The 3rd battalion of the brigade was besieged near Berezne and Olenivka under constant shellfire.

According to the Presidential Executive Order #311/2015 on June 4, 2015, Dmytro was posthumously decorated with the Third Class Order For Bravery “for personal courage and high professionalism demonstrated in the protection of sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, loyalty to the military oath”.… Читати далі

Roman Zubchuk (11.13.1993-01.05.2015)

Roman Zubchuk was born on November 13th, 1993, in the town of  Demydivka, Rivne Oblast. After finishing Demydivka Higher Vocational School № 25, he worked as a senior calisthenics coach. At the same time, Roman was a champion of the Oblastal competitions in athletics.

Later, Roman served as a seaman holding the rank of sergeant in the Ukrainian Navy in Sevastopol. From the first day of the Revolution of Dignity, he was an active participant in it. He registered in the medical service of Maidan.

Roman died on January 5th, near the village of Minkivka, Artemivsk Raion, on the way to Donetsk Oblast. It was the result of the road accident: the bus with the soldiers hit the military truck. The reason for this catastrophe was horrible weather conditions, specifically glazed frost and poor visibility.

According to the Presidential Executive Order №, 365/2015 on June 28th, 2015, Roman Zubchuk was posthumously awarded the Third Class Order For Bravery “for valor and high professionalism demonstrated in the protection of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, loyalty to the oath of enlistment.”… Читати далі

Volodymyr Tomilin (08.22.1990 – 07.20.2015)

Volodymyr Tomilin was born on September 22, 1990, in the village of Berezne, Rivne Oblast.  He went in the first class to Berezne Secondary School №2. In 2001, after the parents’ divorce, Volodymyr moved with his mother to the village of Malynivka, Goshcha Raion of Rivne Oblast.  In that village, Volodymyr went to school. After finishing the 9th grade of Malynivka School, he studied at Rivne Vocational School No 1.

In 2008, he joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. After the end of service for a fixed period, Volodymyr returned to his native village where he got married.

On March 9, 2015, he went as a volunteer to ATO. On April 24, 2015, Volodymyr participated in Anti-Terrorist Operations in Donetsk Oblast. Volodymyr had the title of a senior soldier, was at the position of gunner of the 28th Mechanized Brigade.

On December 20, 2015, he died as a result of bombardment near the city of Krasnohorivka (Mariinka Raion, Donetsk Oblast). He left his mother, a wife, and a daughter.… Читати далі

Andrii Tyvonchuk (03.15.1978 – 06.01.2016)

Tyvonchuk Andrii was born on March 5, 1978, in the village of Tuchyn, Hoshcha Raion, Rivne Oblast.  From 1984 to 1995 he studied at Tuchyn Secondary School.

In 1996, Andrii took driving classes. During 1996 – 1998 he was at military service in Berdychiv and later in Lviv in border troops.  Andrii decided to connect his life with the army. In 1999-2001s he studied at Uzhhorod Warrant Officer School, where he served until 2003. Later Andrii served in Tuchyn Military Unit. After demobilization, he worked for the sausage plant as a builder, then as a driver.

In July 2015, Andrii was mobilized to the Army and served at Tuchyn Training Range. In May 2016, Andrii was sent to the East of Ukraine. He served in Mykolaiv Oblast as a Chief of the Column of Material Maintenance.

Andrii died on June 1, 2016, on the territory of the Military Unit in the village of  Velyka Novosilka (Donetsk Oblast) from a cardiac arrest.… Читати далі

Oleh Tarasiuk (Taras) (09.21.1968 – 08.10.2014)

Tarasiuk Oleh was born on September 21, 1968, in the village of Kurozvany, Goshcha Raion, Rivne Oblast. He studied at Rivne Vocational School No.1. Oleh worked at the Azot Plant as a bricklayer-rigger, more than ten years he was a successful entrepreneur. Furthermore, he traded tractors from Europe. For his own funds, Oleh improved the lake site in his native village.

As a volunteer, he went to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Moreover, he was a commander of Rivne Recon Team of the Ukrainian Voluntary Corps “Pravyi sector”, had the nickname “Taras”. During this time, Oleh went through the hottest points of confrontation in Donetsk, Amvrosiivka, and Karlivka.

Oleh died from sniper bullet at 5 p.m. on September 10, 2014, rescuing fellows in Ilovaisk Battle.

He left a wife, two children, and two grandchildren. Oleh was buried in Rivne on the Alley of Fame of the City Cemetery “Nove”.

Tarasiuk Oleh was decorated with the Third Class Order of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi “for personal courage and high professionalism demonstrated in the protection of sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, loyalty to the military oath”.… Читати далі

Dmytro Kozachonok (10.31.1994 – 5.7.2015)

Dmytro V. Kozachonok was born on October 31, 1994, in the village of Zastenky, Dubrovno Raion, Vitebsk Oblast of the Republic of Belarus. Later the family moved to the village of Kurozvany where he attended a local school which he finished in 2010.

Dmytro was drafted into the army under a contract in August 2013. After 3 months training, he got into the ATO Zone. He was a tank company chief mechanic-driver of the 30th Separate Mechanized Infantry Brigade (Novohrad-Volynskyi).

Dima and his friends spent the spring and half of the summer of the year 2014 at the checkpoints while guarding the borders of the ATO Zone.

Dmytro V. Kozachonok perished on May 7, 2015, as a result of mortar shelling of brigade number 30 emplacements on the lines between the towns of Horlivka and Artemivsk (Donetsk Oblast) by Russian fighters.

The hero was buried in the village of Kurozvany, Hoshcha Raion.

According to the Presidential Executive Order No 553/2015 on September 22, 2015 “for courage, selflessness and high professionalism which was demonstrated during the defense of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, fidelity to the oath of enlistment”, Dmytro was posthumously awarded a Third Class Order “For Bravery”.… Читати далі
